Martin Control Systems is First-Ever Central Ohio System Integrator to be Recognized as Best in the Business

Named Control Engineering’s 2011 System Integrator of the Year

 DUBLIN, OH (January 21, 2011) – Martin Control Systems, Inc. (MartinCSI), an industrial control systems design and engineering firm, has been named 2011 System Integrator of the Year by Control Engineering.  Martin Control Systems, founded in 1993, was selected based on superior technical expertise, business skills and customer satisfaction as assessed by an expert panel of nine judges familiar with the automation systems integration industry. MartinCSI is the first-ever Central Ohio system integrator to receive this award.

 Customers of Martin Control Systems include primarily original equipment manufacturers as well as industrial and process automation companies in regulated industries including pharmaceuticals manufacturing, food processing, beverage production, paint and chemicals processing and nutrition products production.

 Martin Control Systems has also earned their third consecutive CSIA Certification from the Control System Integrators Association.  MartinCSI is currently the only system integrator in Central Ohio to have earned CSIA Certification. The Certification is earned for demonstrated adherence to the Association’s best practices and benchmarks in the areas of general management, human resources, project quality, financial and technical management, and business development.  Continued achievement of this complex and rigorous audit process further contributed to MartinCSI’s success in earning the Systems Integrator of the Year award.

About the Systems Integrator of the Year Award
Ever since Joseph Marie Jacquard automated his first textile loom in 1801, a host of equipment vendors, contract engineering firms and individual experts have offered their services to help factory owners automate their facilities.  For the last 18 years, Control Engineering has been cataloging all such sources of automation engineering services in the annual Automation Integrator Guide.  Of the more than 2,000 system integrators listed in the Guide’s database, only a few stand out as truly superior and worthy of recognition with the System Integrator of the Year Award.  In each of the last five years, a panel of judges selected by Control Engineering for their expertise with the automation system integration industry has sought to identify three system integrators (in three categories based on the size of the organization) particularly worthy of recognition for their technical abilities, business skills and customer satisfaction .
